The Writing School is unique in its commitment to build a community of writers based around our affiliation with the Douglas County Libraries located south of Denver, Colorado.
We are also unique in our celebration of all kinds of writers – professional, aspiring and hobby – and all kinds of writing – literary, poetry, genre, blogging, memoirs, journaling and the list goes on!
We believe that everyone is a writer. Everyone has an important story to tell, an emotion to share, an adventure to experience.
Whether you are just beginning down the path of writing or have several published books under your belt, The Writing School offers a wide variety of classes. Classes that can teach you how to define your idea. Instructors that can guide you in your craft. And material that explores marketing in this new age of publishing.
The Writing School is unique in its approach to teaching by offering several models of classes. We offer face-to-face classes, online classes and “bookend” classes.
Bookend classes are a combination of online and face-to-face classes, giving you the benefit of community but the luxury of working at your own pace.
